Anthrax meningoencephalitis is a rare but mortal condition of anthrax. Primary focus of infection may be skin, respiratory and gastrointestinal anthrax. It has a poor prognosis with fatal outcome despite agresssive combined antibioterapy. Radiological findings demonstrate a haemorhagic encephalitis pattern with cerebral edema. We present an anthrax meningoencephalitis case with CT, MRI and DWI findings from an endemic region.
